I have a police scanner Bearcat 300 at a flea market and I have no idea how they work. Can someone tell me how to record and listen to the police.

You also need the frequencies in your area police, fire can be used, etc. googling your city and the radio frequency police should arrive at something that might or Google in your county, but finally found something. Just play with the text and everything you need to know. Good luck.
BTW, this question is a little bit scanner .... mislocated reference into this category are closer to the scanner for copying / saving images and documents. It would fit best in the category of consumer electronics for the exposure to possible answers, but I hope that the information I have entered, wherever you go.
